According to the National Food Act, you must have a hygiene passport, if you handle unpacked or perishable food products. Hygiene passport training is intended for people who need a hygiene passport.

Before taking the test, you can study the different subfields of food hygiene on the Finnish Food Authority’s website (www.ruokavirasto.fi/en) or you can register for training, at the end of which you take the hygiene passport test.

The hygiene passport test is a written test. To pass the test, your score must be min. 34/40 points. The test time is 45 minutes. If you pass the test, Ruokavirasto – Finnish Food Authority, will send you a certificate and a plastic card by mail approximately within a month.

If the test is cancelled or interrupted due to a reason caused by the educational institution, all payments will be refunded in full. The educational institution is not responsible for any other additional costs caused to the participant as a result of cancellations. The cancellation of the test will be notified by e-mail.
