Study counselling psychologist and school social worker

The services of a study counselling psychologist and school social worker are available to basic vocational qualification students at TAKK  throughout their studies. The services for TAKK students are organised by the City of Tampere.

The so called on-demand training students coming from outside the EU are served by TAKK’s own social counsellor (see further information below).

Study counselling psychologist

The vocational qualification students have the right to counselling, advice, and support appointments to the psychologist in matters related to well-being, studies, and life situations.

During the appointments, e.g. the following can be discussed:

  • study stress and exhaustion
  • nervousness
  • anxiety symptoms and decreased mood, and
  • different crisis situations

The visits are preventive and short-term. The services of a psychologist are always voluntary, confidential, and free of charge. The psychologist can be met by appointment - appointments by text message, phone, or email.
